John Cabe, Owner and President John is the second generation owner/manager of Cabe Toyota. From the very beginning the “Cabe Brothers” founders - Loy, Roy and Jimmy Cabe were involved with the performance end of the car business through their relationships with such legendary pioneers as Bill Stroppe and Clay Smith. John’s early experiences include Drag racing at infamous Lions Drag Strip and as a Volvo dealer in the 1960’s competing in autocross and road rally events. In the 1970’s he became involved in the sport of off-road racing and has competed in many of off-roads most famous and grueling events including the BAJA 1000 in Toyota powered vehicles. John continues to be a familiar face at the majority of the SCORE series events. One of the highlights of Johns racing career was an opportunity to compete in the pro-celebrity race at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach in 1998 resulting in strong 2nd place finish. Mike Bingham, Service and Parts Director Mike began his career at Cabe Toyota in 1978 as a parts delivery driver. A hard core gear head at heart, it wasn't long before Mike was involved with owner John Cabe's off-road racing program helping to build and prepare John's race cars and acting as driver/co-driver as well. Mike is currently serving as a chase crew member for the successful Toyota powered class #1 car of Dale Ebberts/Inland Truss racing in the SCORE Off-Road series. Mike was instrumental in bringing the performance parts program to the dealership and making Cabe Toyota one of the first TRD "stocking" dealers. Mike continues to be involved in all aspects of the Toyota performance scene including the emerging hobby of Toyota restoration and "old school" build ups.
